  • INNOVATION AND TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE
    The College has evolved an ecosystem for innovation, research, entrepreneurship and skill development to elicit the implicit potential of the students, researchers, and faculty members. The College strives to promote research facilities, an eco-System for innovation, creation and transfer of knowledge through the dedicated research centres in arts and humanities. The College is a recognised research centre in 12 disciplines and runs M.phil program in 13 Disciplines (Prior to the Implementation of NEP 2020 from the Session 2021-22). The College promotes Inter-disciplinary Research in art and Humanities and the students undertake research on Interdisciplinary topics of relevance. Adequate research facilities are ensured to motivate the research scholars to undertake research smoothly.
    Research and Innovation
    The College promotes a sound research culture with focus on quality. The college has a well-equipped Research Library where adequate research facilities are ensured such as e- library, research library equipped with INFLIBNET and NlLIST, e-resources. Seminars and workshops have been frequently organised by the College focused on Research, Methodology, Entrepreneurship and skill development. The initiatives are-
    SWAMI VIVEKANANDA CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL
    Swami Vivekanand career counselling cell of the College organizes workshops, hands on training sessions, skill enhancement initiatives to give impetus to innovative ideas of the students for Page 59/132 31-10-2025 09:10:28 Self Study Report of GOVERNMENT THAKUR RANMAT SINGH COLLEGE entrepreneurship and employability. Several activities to train the students have been conducted in the college towards their motivation for self-employment and entrepreneurship skills. The College has an active placement cell to undertake placement initiatives in the campus. A number of activities have been conducted in the college to incubate student’s potential to self-employment and entrepreneurship.
    SWAMI VIVEKANAND YOUTH RESOURCE CENTRE
    The College Has established Swami Vivekanand Youth Resource Centre to creation and transfer of knowledge providing impetus to student’s initiative towards gainful employment and entrepreneurship. The Resource centre organizes activities such as Seminars on Employability, Entrepreneurship and Skill to motivate the students to incubate new ideas towards employability. A seven days programs on Milk products, Vermi-composting, Organic Manure and Mushroom Cultivation, Honey bee keeping, Dona Pattal Making, Dairy Farming and Animal Husbandry was organised as an initiative to transfer of skill to students. The students of Botany Department grew Mushrooms in the Botanical Garden. Value- aided program for 30 hours were held by the Department of Physics and Botany on the Initiatives mentioned.
    DIVISIONAL NODAL CENTRE FOR CAREER COUNSELING
    The College is a divisional nodal centre for career guidance which remains active in organizing counselling, career training workshops placement events to motivate the students towards better career and self-employment opportunities. IQAC helps and motivates the organization of State, National and Institutional level academic conferences, seminars, workshops to motivate the students and faculty members to ensure eco-system for innovation. Entrepreneurship awareness workshops have been organized in collaboration Employment Office, agricultural College, to acknowledge their contribution in the initiatives. Seminar and workshop have been organized by the Career cell centre to incubate their entrepreneurial venture and their start-ups in the campus under the efficient supervision of Experts. Incubation Centre The College strives to develop an incubation Centre in the Campus. The College has been selected for establishment of Incubation centre by the Department of higher education Madhya Pradesh and the Process has been started.
